Today, I forgive myself one day at a time until I reach complete forgiveness.
Forgiveness can be a process, and sometimes a process that will take several steps to reach. Some our journeys towards self-forgiveness may take longer than others. The damaged and harm we may have inflicted on ourselves may be 100 more times devastating, than the harm someone else may have caused. However, we can make a choice to no longer dwell in the past and allow God to do a new thing in us. The journey towards self-forgiveness can be an arduous journey but a freeing one.
Choose to break free of the chains that have kept and that are keeping you captive. Let forgiveness free you from the bondage of your past.
Self-forgiveness is the first step towards freedom and an act of self-love.
Isaiah 43:18-19
18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
